GEOLOGIST / HYDROGEOLOGIST / ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST, SANTA FE, NM 20-03-SFNM01
INTERA Incorporated is in need of a self-motivated Geologist / Hydrogeologist / Environmental Scientist for our Santa Fe, New Mexico, office. We're looking for a team player with an enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving. You would also support site characterizations at other INTERA sites in New Mexico and Texas while assisting our talented technical team both in the field and the office.

 Responsibilities
§  Completing monthly monitoring events such as downloading pressure gauges and measuring water levels
§  Collecting water samples and participating in hydraulic testing events
§  Developing and updating well diagrams in AutoCad and site maps in ArcGIS
§  Managing and analyzing environmental data to develop reports
§  Interfacing with clients
Required Education and Skills
§  A bachelor's degree in environmental science, geosciences, hydrogeology, or related field
§  2+ years of applied relevant experience
§  Advanced degrees may be substituted for experience
§  Foundational knowledge of hydrogeology
§  Experience with data evaluation and technical report preparation
§  Stellar writing, presentation, and communication skills
§  The ability to work both independently and in project teams
§  Willing and able to travel to project sites or meetings in New Mexico and Texas
Desired Education and Skills
§  Prior work experience with an environmental or engineering firm
§  Experience with Phase I ESAs, environmental drilling techniques, and environmental sample collection
§  OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training
