The USGS North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center (NC CASC) encourages applications for a Program Manager. This position will oversee day-to-day university operations of the NC CASC. The mission of the NC CASC (https://nccasc.colorado.edu<https://nccasc.colorado.edu/>) is to work with natural and cultural resource managers to identify, gather, and apply the information they need to understand and adapt to a changing climate. The NC CASC is a partnership between the US Geological Survey, the University of Colorado Boulder, and five consortium partners. The NC CASC fosters co-production of actionable science, where partner input is incorporated throughout the research process to better ensure that the science developed informs key management decisions. Further, the NC CASC is committed to open science, making data, code, and tools open and reproducible, to better enable a broad community of participants in the scientific process. The North Central center is one of eight regional climate centers in the national CASC network (https://www.usgs.gov/land-resources/climate-adaptation-science-centers) built to help meet the changing needs of land and resource managers across the country. The NC CASC serves primarily Department of Interior agencies, state fish and wildlife agencies, and Tribal partners across a 7-state region, including Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, and Nebraska. The Program Manager will be located with the NC CASC, on the University of Colorado-Boulder’s east campus. The NC CASC is associated with CIRES, the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences, a leading institute at CU (https://cires.colorado.edu/about).
The NC CASC Program Manager will:

* Contribute to communication efforts to share results and highlights among the CASC’s consortium members & target audiences.
* Coordinate meetings and workshops, prioritize and facilitate agenda of NC CASC-led meetings, workshops, and other events.
