Salary range: $59,436.00 - $77,952.00 Annually

The Environmental Assessment Program (EAP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Toxics Source Identification Monitoring Lead (Natural Resource Scientist 3) position. This position will be located at our Headquarters Building in Lacey, WA.

The Toxics Source Identification Monitoring Lead position is a senior staff scientist in the Toxics Studies Unit (TSU), this position is responsible for identifying sources of toxic contaminants in basins where salmonids may be impacted. This data is used to conduct toxic contamination source identification, determine effectiveness of source control efforts, and assess water bodies for toxic contaminants.

We are looking for applicants who possess strong technical skills, are capable of synthesizing a wide array of subject matter into a usable format, and the ability to collaborate with local groups to accomplish the work.
