Attention: Undergraduates in geoscience

Please consider applying for our National Science Foundation-funded International Research Experiences for Students program “Landscapes of Deep Time in the Red Earth of France— Research Training in Paleoclimate”

Our program is open to current undergraduates majoring in geoscience and is particularly focused on recruiting undergraduates from underserved groups. We especially encourage applications from students of Native American heritage, and from those who are first-generation college students. The program involves four weeks of geological (sedimentological) fieldwork in France from late May through June 2020 and is fully-funded (in addition to a $2500 stipend). The deadline for applications is Feb-1, 2020.

Thank you.
