About This Role:

The Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional & Community Planning (LARCP) in the College of Architecture, Planning & Design (APDesign) at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS is seeking qualified candidates to teach courses in the department related to environmental planning as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. We're specifically seeking candidates with expertise in environmental planning with demonstrated geospatial skills.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:
*         Ph.D. in Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a closely allied field or show evidence that a Ph.D. will be completed prior to the start of the appointment.
*         Qualified for membership on the K-State Graduate Faculty.
*         Candidates must demonstrate evidence of or potential for inspired teaching, scholarly productivity, and focus in research related to environmental planning with geospatial skills.
*         Ability to help students develop career-ready professional planning skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
*         Degree in planning.
*         Relevant professional experience.
*         Capacity for planning for climate change, resilience, socio-ecological systems and/or disaster response.
