We have a new posting for a Postdoctoral Scholar. The position is with the
Joint Institute for the Study of the Atmosphere and Ocean (JISAO) in

Major duties include:

   - Data compilation, processing, and carbonate system calculations on
   CO2, dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH, and ancillary data
   for Arctic carbon datasets.
   - Leading and contributing to publications in peer-reviewed journals,
   presenting at scientific conferences, participating in proposal writing.
   - Contributing to scientific data set inventory and reports,
   collaboration with other technicians and research scientists in the
   operation and calibration of research equipment.
   - Document progress on tasks and communicate progress regularly with
   other team members and leadership.
   - Participation in at-sea collection of discrete carbon data as well as
   conducting at-sea deployments of autonomous systems.

This appointment is designed to provide postdoctoral experience for
interested marine scientists in an interdisciplinary, collaborative
laboratory setting as well as at sea, and will require excellent teamwork,
communication, and organizational skills.
