We would like to draw your attention to a currently advertised 3 to 4-year PhD position at the University of Bergen in Norway. The vacant position is part of our Norwegian Research Council-funded SOUTHSPHERE<https://www.geog.cam.ac.uk/research/projects/southsphere/> project, and focuses on the reconstruction of the past (Late Pleistocene-Holocene) behavior of the Southern Ocean`s atmosphere and cryosphere. To do so, the succesful candidate will apply a suite of novel proxy approaches on lake sediment sequences from the under-investigated Kerguelen archipelago.
