Job Summary/Basic Function
The College of Arts, Education, and Sciences at Clarion University invite applications of qualified candidates to fill an anticipated temporary full-time faculty position for the 2019 - 2020 academic year. Individuals hired may be offered an additional year 2020 - 2021 based on acceptable evaluation of performance and student enrollment demand.
The Geology position requires teaching responsibilities that may include Basic Earth Science,
Hydrogeology with lab, Historical Geology with lab, Invertebrate Paleontology, and Stratigraphy and Sedimentary Petrology with lab.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Geology, Geoscience, Geography, or a related field and completion of a successful phone interview.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience at college/university level, Ph.D. in Geology, Geoscience, Geography, or a related field is preferred, ABD considered.
