We are looking to hire a postdoctoral researcher. This person will be
focusing on examining a warm season process and identifying its role in
initiation of nocturnal convection in the U.S. Great Plains. Knowledge of
convection development and mesoscale dynamics, experience (programming and
post-processing) of using WRF or ARW model in simulations of convection
processes, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are
required. Applicants must have a PhD degree in atmospheric science,
meteorology, or a related field. Initial appointment is for 12-months, with
the possibility of extension for a second year. Starting date of the
