Texas A&M University is seeking a postdoctoral research scientist to 
work on a new five-year NASA EVS-3 Mission - *Dynamics and Chemistry of 
the Summer Stratosphere (DCOTSS)*

which will investigate the impact of intense convective storms on the 
stratosphere over the U.S.

During the summers of 2020 and 2021, DCOTSS will carry out four field 
deployments with the NASA high-altitude ER-2 aircraft to measure the 
composition of outflow from overshooting storms.  The postdoctoral 
scientist will assist with all aspects of the DCOTSS project, primarily 
in the areas of dynamical processes, forecasting and flight planning, 
remote sensing, and modeling.  The position announcement is available
