The Department of Physics and Physical Oceanography at the University of
North Carolina Wilmington is looking to fill a tenure-track faculty
position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of coastal
engineering. We seek candidates who will help to begin the new coastal
engineering Bachelor of Science degree at UNCW set to start in the Fall 0f
2019. The new program leverages the university’s expertise in earth and
ocean sciences, physical oceanography and environmental science, as well as
the regional and geographic distinctiveness of coastal North Carolina.

All candidates should have a commitment to teaching at the undergraduate
level and be able to show potential for innovation and leadership in
research.
