Hello,
I am hiring a 2 year postdoc to work on modelling of ocean radiocarbon and comparison with observations.

Best wishes,
Heather Graven

Applications are invited for a 2 year Postdoctoral Research Associate position within the Space and Atmospheric Physics Group of the Department of Physics at Imperial College London.

The post holder will undertake research in ocean tracers, circulation and heat uptake. They will join the team of the TICTOC project (Transient tracer-based Investigation of Circulation and Thermal Ocean Change, http://projects.noc.ac.uk/tictoc/). The focus will be on the analysis of new ocean radiocarbon measurements performed by TICTOC and other available ocean radiocarbon data, as well as the analysis of simulations of radiocarbon in ocean models. Observed and simulated radiocarbon in the ocean will be compared to other ocean tracers such as CFCs and used to investigate ocean circulation changes and their impact on ocean heat content and sea level rise. The post holder will be based at Imperial but will work closely with team members at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton, Oxford University and the University of Exeter.
