The research project “Feedbacks between land cover, people, and climate in the seasonally arid tropics (MONSOON)" led by Prof. Jed O. Kaplan and supported by the German Government’s "Make Our Planet Great Again" initiative is searching for a postdoctoral fellow to lead the project work package on regional climate modeling.

This position is located in the Institute of Geography at the University of Augsburg in the compact and lively city of Augsburg in sunny southern Germany, close to the Alps and the metropolitan center of Munich.

Full funding at the TV-L 13 level is available for approximately 2 years and 4 months (28 months). The position is available immediately and must commence by 1 May 2020 at the latest.
