Dear all,

A fully funded PhD position in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering within College of Engineering at Wayne State University is available to start in either Winter 2020 or Fall 2020. The potential candidate has the opportunity to work on multiple projects to quantify the impacts of anthropogenic emissions (e.g., air pollutions) on air quality, climate change and human health. Applicants with background in environmental engineering/science, atmospheric science, chemistry, geology, computer science, mathematics, or other related fields are welcome to apply. Previous programming skills using Fortran, IDL and/or python are preferred but not required. The PhD candidate will work directly with Dr. Yaoxian Huang.
