LongPath Technologies is a new startup focused on continuous, regional monitoring of methane emissions from oil and gas operations. We use Nobel-prize winning dual-frequency comb laser technology with atmospheric inversions to detect and measure fugitive emissions of methane over large (several square mile) areas. The technology has been proven in field testing and we are now beginning to work with industry partners. 

LongPath is seeking to hire a data analyst who will help with analysis, algorithm development, streamlining of analysis and customer reporting. This person will join a fast-paced environment and dynamic team of researchers and engineers. 

Requirements:

Python 
Excellent writing skills

Experience in any of the below areas is an added bonus:

Matlab proficiency
Applied math, statistics or data assimilation
Oil and gas monitoring or operations
Atmospheric modeling
Geographic analysis or GIS
Data visualization software or design
User interface design
Database management and design or data handling

Education and Experience:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in applied math, statistics, earth sciences (e.g. geology, geography, atmospheric sciences), engineering, or a related field

Job Location:
Must be willing to relocate to Boulder, Colorado
