California, Santa Barbara (Lecturer with Potential Security of Employment
(PSOE), with a focus in biology education and marine science. First

The College of Creative Studies (CCS) and the Department of Ecology,
Evolution, and Marine Biology (EEMB) at the University of California, Santa
Barbara jointly invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position as
a Lecturer with Potential Security of Employment (PSOE), with an
anticipated start date of July 1, 2019. The College and Department are
looking for exceptional individuals with expertise in both biology and
marine science, capable to teach introductory biology courses in EEMB as
well as marine science courses in the new CCS Marine Science major. The
successful appointment would be evenly split between CCS and EEMB, and
would include program development activities for the Marine Science major.
The departments are especially interested in candidates who can contribute
to the diversity, equity and inclusion in the academic community through
teaching and service, as appropriate to the position.
