Position Description

The Department of Atmospheric Sciences in the College of Geosciences at Texas A&M University is seeking

Teaching facilities in the department include two undergraduate computer laboratories, the Aggie Doppler Radar (ADRAD), an aerosol lidar, the Weather Center, and an automated agricultural weather station. The department is part of the College of Geosciences, which includes the Departments of Geology and Geophysics, Geography, and Oceanography, and the interdisciplinary Environmental Programs and Water Management and Hydrologic Sciences degree programs. Position Type: Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) Faculty

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in meteorology, atmospheric science, or a closely-related discipline.  Demonstrated experience in teaching classes is desired and/or extensive experience with applications of meteorology in a non-university setting.
