The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health of the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health invites applications for an exposure science non-tenure track, open rank, 12-month faculty member. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants with interests broadly applicable to exposure science in environmental and occupational health are invited to apply.

We invite applications from a variety of disciplines related to the public health implications of environmental hazards. We welcome applicants with environmental and occupational health expertise, with teaching and research interests pertinent to exposure assessment that could include: climate change, water, sanitation and hygiene, chemical exposures, sustainable cities and food systems, ambient and household air pollution, and/or infectious diseases. Relevant research methods range from laboratory investigations to exposure modeling, to high throughput data and machine learning to implementation science. We invite applicants with experience assessing exposures to environmental hazards, including direct measurement of environmental pollutants, modeling environmental fate and transport, or analyzing remotely sensed observations such as from satellites. Those with an interest in interdisciplinary research are also invited to apply.
