There is an opening for a postdoc in physical oceanography to be based in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge. The postdoc will study the interactions between near-inertial oscillations, fronts, and submesoscales using large-eddy simulations. This is part of a project called SUNRISE, jointly funded by NSF and NERC and will involve close collaboration with colleagues at Texas A+M, Stanford, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and Oregon State University.
