The AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellowships (STPF) program is a paid, yearlong opportunity for professional development and public service for outstanding scientists and engineers. These transformative fellowships take you to Washington, D.C. for one year and places you in an office in one of the three branches of federal government.



Fellows come from a wide range of disciplines, sectors and career stages. Fellows are postdocs, faculty on sabbatical, and other scientists and engineers looking to add new skills and grow their careers.



Applications for the 2020-21 class of S&T Policy Fellows are being accepted through November 1.



Gain hands-on policy experience, help develop and execute solutions to address societal challenges, and join a highly accomplished corps of over 3,000 alumni fellows who are leaders in government, academia, industry and the nonprofit sector.
