Graduate research assistantships and teaching assistantships in Atmospheric Science are available in the Department of Geography and Atmospheric Science at the University of Kansas (https://atmo.ku.edu/) for Fall 2019. There are several opportunities for funded graduate research assistant projects with topics including mesoscale meteorology, cloud processes, regional and large-scale climate dynamics, variability and transport of dust aerosols, dust-climate interactions, and regional climate change.
Candidates with a background in atmospheric science, physics, mathematics, engineering, or other related field are encouraged to send a CV/resume and a statement of interest to Dr. Bing Pu (bpu at ku.edu<mailto:bpu at ku.edu>). For enrollment in fall of 2019, a full application must be submitted online by June 1st, 2019: https://geog.ku.edu/graduate-1. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
