Faculty Positions in Atmospheric Chemistry
The School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (http://eas.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Atmospheric Chemistry, Aerosols & Clouds. Applicants will be considered at all ranks. We invite candidates who will build a competitive research program that complements and extends our strengths through observational (field or laboratory), theoretical, or modeling approaches. Research interests may cover a broad range. Those interested in areas that include fundamental studies of gas and particle phase atmospheric chemistry, atmospheric chemistry and human health effects, aerosol-cloud-climate interactions, remote sensing, atmosphere-biosphere interactions, biogeochemical cycles, planetary atmospheres, and related "big data" science are encouraged to apply. We seek individuals who are interested in working in a dynamic and interdisciplinary university that includes a diverse group of planetary and space, earth, ocean, and atmospheric sciences, and many top-ranked engineering programs.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
