Hello everyone!

Last week we celebrated science and scientists via Science-A-Thon <https://www.scienceathon.org/media>  This event was dedicated to increasing public awareness of what the day in the life of a scientists, across disciplines, looks like. This event also helps to raise money to support the Earth Science Women’s Network (ESWN). 

ESWN created the Earth Science Jobs listserv <https://medium.com/@traceyholloway/meet-dr-christine-wiedinmyer-champion-of-science-careers-b6c3a35e1cd0> to help serve our entire community, creating a clearinghouse for relevant job announcements.

I think you know how valuable this list is…AND there’s over 6000 subscribers, and the more the merrier because it means we hear about almost every position that is out there. With 6000 subscribers, if you each gave $5 today to support ESWN we would raise another $30K!!!!!

I promise this will be out last ask this year. Please consider supporting ESWN… this organization is making science a better place for all, and helping early career scientists be successful as they navigate their career paths. Every dollar raised today contributes to a 50% endowment matching grant from the Madison Community Foundation. We need to raise a total of $50K to receive our full match!
