Fully-funded PhD student positions are available in Dr. Yan Wang's group at the Department of Ocean Science, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (OCES/HKUST). Research topics revolve around baroclinic turbulence over topography and eddy-mean flow interactions. Collaborations with UCLA and University of Maryland are warranted. Potential candidates demonstrating academic and/or research excellence in physics, mathematics, and scientific computing are encouraged to apply.
