The Millet (www.atmoschem.umn.edu) and Kort
(http://clasp-research.engin.umich.edu/faculty/kort/index.html)
research groups invite applications for a jointly-supervised
postdoctoral researcher. The project combines chemical transport
modeling (e.g., GEOS-Chem) with newly-collected aircraft measurements
from the GEM campaign to develop new constraints on nitrous oxide
(N2O) emissions over the central US. The successful candidate will
join as part of a larger interdisciplinary team working to better
understand greenhouse gas emissions from this key region.
Candidates should have a PhD in a related science or engineering
field. Experience with forward or inverse atmospheric modeling is
preferred. Starting date is as soon as possible.
Please email a CV, a cover letter (describing research experience,
career goals, and your fit for the position), 2-3 representative
publications, and contact information for three references to Dylan
