*Post-doctoral Research Position in Atmospheric Aerosol Modeling at the
University of Michigan*

*Description:  *Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to
participate on a Department of Energy funded project investigating the role
of biological particles on aerosol-cloud interactions.  The position will
be based at the University of Michigan in the Climate and Space Science and
Engineering department in the research group of Professor Allison Steiner.
The project will use data from the DoE Southern Great Plains ARM field site
in conjunction with regional scale models to understand how biological
particles can influence regional convection.  The initial appointment is
for one year, with the possibility for extension to a second year.

*Qualifications:* Candidates must have received a Ph.D. in atmospheric
sciences, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related fields of
environmental science and engineering.  Programming experience is
preferred, especially those with experience with three-dimensional regional
models (e.g., WRF, WRF-Chem), however, candidates with other atmospheric
chemistry experience will be considered. Applicants should have
demonstrated quantitative skills and a successful publication record.
