The Department of Ecology is recruiting for an Underground Storage Tank Data Manager (Environmental Specialist 2) in the Toxics Cleanup Program that will be located in our headquarters building in Lacey, WA

This position participates in reaching innovative pollution prevention strategies with the Underground Storage Tank (UST) owners/operators to protect human health and the environment. It ensures compliance at UST facilities and implements portions of the UST regulations at several thousand UST sites in the state. Serves as an environmental specialist performing scientific analysis and technical services of assigned office tasks; gathers and analyzes information to develop recommendations and make decisions in support of UST compliance and enforcement inspections. Maintains, analyzes and utilizes computerized environmental databases in support of technical staff and public information.
