I'm writing to inform you of a NOAA vacancy announcement that is currently
open for *Chief Scientist, National Ice Center (NIC)*. This is a full-time
permanent position within NOAA's National Environmental Satellite Data and
Information Service (NESDIS) in the Center for Satellite Applications and
Research (STAR).

The grade for this position is a ZP-1360-4 (GS 13-14 equivalent). The
position will be stationed at the NOAA Center for Weather and Climate
Prediction (NCWCP) in College Park, MD, but will split time between the
NCWCP and the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) in Suitland, MD.
