The Department of Earth and Environmental Science at Temple University
seeks motivated students interested in pursuing  PhD (Geosciences) or MS
(Geology).


*Low Impact Solar Development: * This project will explore the feasibility
of agricultural/range co-location opportunities at multiple test sites (in
US, Indonesia and India), by providing foundational field-level data and
quantitative analysis on cost reduction opportunities. This project will
provide critical data on microclimate, hydrology, soil processes,
vegetation community composition and economics to inform developers,
landowners, and state agencies to facilitate widespread deployment. The
student will be advised by Sujith Ravi (Temple University, PA

collaboration with Jordan Macknick (National Renewable Energy Laboratory,
CO).

Applicants for the PhD program must hold an MS degree in geology, earth
sciences or environmental engineering, with strong oral and written
communication skills. Experience or interest in quantitative data analysis
and field sensor networks is preferred. The graduate students will be fully
funded by research and teaching assistantships. For more info:
