Dr. Scot Miller is recruiting PhD students to start in the fall of 2019 at Johns Hopkins University.

The research group focuses on atmospheric modeling, greenhouse gases, and estimating/verifying emissions from local to global scales (http://greenhousegaslab.org/). Existing research projects focus on global change in the Arctic, greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture, and emissions from energy industries (e.g., coal, oil, and natural gas). Members of the group also develop tools for big data using high performance computing.

Dr. Scot Miller is an assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University (https://ehe.jhu.edu/). The department encompasses a wide variety of environmental disciplines, and there are many opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. For example, there are faculty and researchers who are experts in atmospheric science, public health, ecology, energy systems, and public policy. Scot also has an appointment in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (https://eps.jhu.edu/).

Anyone interested should email Scot directly (smill191 at jhu.edu). ?
