The atmospheric chemistry and biometeorology groups
(www.atmoschem.umn.edu; www.biometeorology.umn.edu) at the University
of Minnesota have an immediate opening for a postdoctoral researcher.
The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic
interdisciplinary team to advance scientific understanding of methane
emissions from the US Upper Midwest, a key region for the global
methane budget. The postdoc will have opportunities to gain skills and
experience with both measurements and modeling, focusing in particular
on the role of streams and rivers for the overall methane budget.
Candidates should have a PhD in a related science or engineering
field. Analytical experience with advanced instrumentation is
required. Experience with field measurements would be a significant
asset.
