The Water Quality Program is looking to fill an Northwest Region Water Quality Planner position. The position will be located in our Northwest Regional Office in Bellevue, WA.

Do you have experience in Clean Water Act permitting, site cleanup and pollution prevention? And are you looking for an opportunity to apply your experience and expertise in a fast-paced, high-profile and innovative regulatory setting? Then the Northwest Region Water Quality Planner position may be for you.

This position supports on-the-ground implementation of new and ongoing water quality initiatives in the Duwamish River watershed by coordinating the use of regulatory tools, grant/loan funding, voluntary activities, and adaptive management plans so that point and non-point sources of pollution are controlled and reduced. Initiatives include implementing Washington's EPA-approved water quality standards for toxics and sediments, stormwater management and wet-weather treatment, and public education and outreach.
