The Environmental Biogeochemistry Lab at Utah State University is
recruiting an MSc student to study the potential for crops irrigated with
contaminated water to accumulate pollutants. The student will have the
opportunity to work in laboratory, greenhouse, and field settings.



*Qualifications*

The student(s) must have completed a BSc by the start date and have a
strong interest and background in one or all of the following subjects:
chemistry, biochemistry, water quality, biogeochemistry, or toxicology.
Students with experience working in laboratory settings are encouraged to
apply. Preference will be given to students with a strong work ethic and
capacity to work independently.

Please send 1) a letter describing your background, interest in the
project, and educational and career goals, 2) your unofficial transcript,
and 3) a CV that includes your GRE scores and the names and contact
information for three references to Janice.brahney at usu.edu. Review of
applications will begin November 15th and the position will remain open
until filled.



Anticipated start date is no later than August 2018, but students may begin
as early as June 2018.
