Overview:



The Civil Engineering Department at Boise State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Successful candidates will be highly collaborative and contribute significantly to teaching and research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates are being sought with expertise in environmental engineering.


Minimum Qualifications:



Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a doctorate degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, and the ability to perform high-quality research as evidenced by acquisition of external funding and peer-reviewed publications.



The successful candidate is required to have a professional engineer's license or the ability to acquire one within three years of appointment, in accordance with State of Idaho rules to teach design courses.



The Civil Engineering Department is part of a vibrant College of Engineering. The College is experiencing tremendous growth and enjoys a high level of support from the high-tech industry in Idaho and the intermountain west.
