The Technical Services Division of Idaho DEQ is looking for an atmospheric scientist or engineer to join our airshed modeling team. The person in this position will focus on MOVES modeling, emission inventories to support SIP modeling, transportation conformity budgets, assistance to MPOs, emission inventory development and a wide variety of other projects.
Boise, Idaho has a surprisingly mild climate and a vibrant downtown, well known for the greenbelt along the river, endless hiking/biking trails and city parks. With uncrowded whitewater, snowboarding, skiing, hiking, camping and boating all within one hour from town, and the largest contiguous wilderness area in the "lower 48" less than 3 hours away, you will fall in love with it. You can even see great blue herons, hit the whitewater park or cast your fly rod on a lunchtime stroll.
