Dalhousie University invites applications from outstanding candidates
for a faculty position in atmospheric science. This is a probationary
tenure track position with the rank of assistant professor. Candidates
will have a PhD in a related discipline, proven teaching ability or
potential at the university level, and must demonstrate the ability or
potential to establish a successful research program. The successful
candidate will be expected to enhance and complement the existing
activities of the atmospheric science group in both teaching and research.

and the broader department have an active research program with
connections to many major national and international programs.
Dalhousie is one of the top universities in Canada. For example, three
of the last four recipients of the NSERC Herzberg Gold Medal, Canada’s
highest prize in science and engineering, have been Dalhousie faculty.
