*Postdoctoral Research Associate** in Isotope Geochemistry, University of
Washington*
The Non-Traditional Isotope Laboratory in the Department of Earth and Space
Sciences at the University of Washington, Seattle, invites applications for
a postdoctoral research position in isotope geochemistry. Research topics
include using and developing new tracers, especially non-traditional stable
isotopes, to constrain cosmochemical, geochemical, and biological
processes. Information
on the research program of Non-Traditional Isotope Laboratory can be found
at: http://faculty.washington.edu/fteng/. Opportunities to collaborate with
scientists within the department and across other units at UW such as
Oceanography, Atmospheric Sciences, and Environmental and Forest Sciences
provide access to a broad range of expertise during the postdoctoral
research.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Earth Sciences or a related field. Experience
in clean laboratory and multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass
spectrometry (MC-ICPMS) is especially desirable. The Initial appointment is
for one year, renewable up to 2 times contingent upon performance. Please
send a CV, a brief description of research interests, and names of three
referees to Prof. Fang-Zhen Teng (fteng at uw.edu) no later than March 17, 2017
. Applications received after this date may be considered if the position
is not filled.

employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual
orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, age,
