RUTGERS UNIVERSITY-NEW BRUNSWICK: COASTAL CLIMATE RISK & RESILIENCE (C2R2) GRADUATE TRAINEESHIP

The Coastal Climate Risk & Resilience (C2R2) Graduate Traineeship program at Rutgers University-New Brunswick invites applicants for its Fall 2018 cohort.

C2R2 is an NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) that prepares graduate students to participate in building coastal resilience in the face of climate risks. C2R2 trains students to conduct research that integrates natural, socio-economic, and engineered elements of coastal systems and to communicate effectively with coastal stakeholders.

All trainee candidates must apply for a research-based disciplinary Masters’ or PhD degree program at Rutgers University simultaneously with their application to the C2R2 program. Students can enroll through disciplinary research-based programs in areas including Atmospheric Sciences, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Ecology and Evolution, Environmental Science, Geography, Oceanography, Planning and Public Policy, and Sociology. We also welcome professional Masters’ students in programs including Urban Planning, Public Policy, Law, Business and Social Work through our graduate certificate program.

For more information, including directions on how to apply, see C2R2.rutgers.edu<http://C2R2.rutgers.edu>.
