Concord University is accepting applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of Chemistry in the Department of Physical Sciences, a combined geology-chemistry-physics department.
Applicants with a background in environmental chemistry or geochemistry, interest in analytical facilities/equipment, and interest in mentoring undergraduate research are preferred. The position will support majors in chemistry, biology, and geoscience. Teaching duties may include general chemistry, analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, and other courses as needed (e.g., environmental chemistry or geochemistry).
The department has a range of analytical equipment including EPMA, micro-XRF, AFM, HPLC, GCMS, ICP, etc.
