The Washington State Department of Ecology is hiring a Water Quality Section Manager in our Bellevue office.

This position manages 44 employees and four work units. The work includes inspections and compliance actions for wastewater, stormwater and nonpoint source pollution discharges, water cleanup planning and implementation, and water quality financial assistance.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree involving major study in environmental, physical, or natural science, engineering, planning, business administration, or closely related field AND five years of significant project leadership experience in forestry, natural resources management, water quality policy, or environmental analysis, control, or planning.

An advanced degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.
