This is a great opportunity for any females pursuing a career in wind (or
renewables more broadly) to attend WINDPOWER 2016 in New Orleans in May.
There is also a special scholarship for women in technical programs to help
cover tuition this year called Wind at Our Backs

*WINDPOWER 2016 will be held from May 23-26 in New Orleans, LA*. The
Fellowship covers the cost of travel to and from the WINDPOWER conference
site, conference registration (and included meals), and lodging.

The Fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis. Rudd Mayer Fellows are
selected by the WoWE Board of Directors, based on:

   - a demonstrated interest in renewable energy
   - academic achievement
   - work and volunteer experience
   - potential for future contributions to the U.S. renewable energy
   community
   - and financial need.
