Dear Students and Faculty members,
Are you or is someone you know an early-stage postgraduate and
late-stage undergraduate student? If so, you are invited to apply for
the *PRACE Summer of HPC 2016* programme, which will be held in July &
August 2016. The program consists of a training week and two months on
placement at top HPC centres around Europe, the programme affords
participants the opportunity to learn and share information about PRACE
and HPC, and includes accommodation, a stipend, and travel to their HPC
centre placement. The deadline has been extended to *19 February 2016*!

If you don’t meet the criteria for the Summer of HPC programme, don’t
worry! You might be more suited to the International Summer School on
HPC Challenges! Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars from
institutions in Europe, Canada, Japan and the United States are invited
to apply for the seventh *International Summer School on HPC Challenges
in Computational Sciences*, to be held June 26 – July 1, 2016, in
Ljubljana, Slovenia. The expense-paid program will benefit advanced
scholars from European, Canadian, Japanese and U.S. institutions who use
HPC to conduct research. Interested students should *apply by February
15th, 2016*. Meals and housing will be covered for the selected
participants, also travel from outside Europe. Applications from
graduate students and postdocs in all science and engineering fields are
welcome.
