Dear all,
We are running multiple tenure track faculty searches this year in the
Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of
Tennessee, Knoxville this year. Specifically, we seek outstanding
scholars to fill the following tenure track positions:

*Conservation Biology, Assistant Professor
<http://eeb.bio.utk.edu/conservationbiology>*. We invite applications
from candidates working on any aspect of ecology or evolutionary biology
relevant to the conservation of biodiversity.

*Evolutionary Biology, Assistant Professor
<http://eeb.bio.utk.edu/evolutionary-biology>*. We invite applications
from individuals with research interests at the cutting edge of any area
of evolution.
* *
*Herbarium Director, Assistant or Associate Professor
<http://eeb.bio.utk.edu/herbariumdirector>*. We seek to fill a
tenure-track position in any area of ecology and evolutionary biology,
where a responsibility of this position will be supervision and further
development of the superb UTK herbarium.
*Spatial Biology, Assistant Professor.*(Preliminary announcement pending
budgetary and central administrative approval). We seek to fill a
tenure-track position in spatial biologyin EEB. The successful candidate
will also be an affiliated faculty member of the National Institute for
Mathematical and Biological Synthesis (NIMBioS).
These provide exciting opportunities for candidates to join a leading
EEB group during a dynamic growth stage. As a department, we collaborate
closely with NIMBioS, nearby Oak Ridge National Lab and benefit from our
extensive biodiversity collections. The University is the State of
Tennessee's research intensive, land grant institution and Knoxville is
a vibrant, affordable, family-friendly community benefiting from a
wealth of nearby natural areas (Great Smoky Mountains National Park
National Forests, State Parks, etc).
