[ES_JOBS_NET] Tenure Track Assistant Professor Position in Quaternary Geology

 The Department of Geosciences at North Dakota State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Quaternary geology, in order to strengthen the department's research reputation and education profile in surficial processes and geology of Polar regions;  Preference will be given to applicants with expertise and field experience related to glacial sediments and landforms, morphodynamic processes, paleoclimate modeling, and/or neotectonics, documented by publication of results in peer-reviewed scientific journals. A Ph.D. is required at time of appointment and university teaching experience is preferred.  Teaching duties will include a range of introductory and advanced courses as well as development of a course in the candidate's area of specialty.  The starting date is August 2016.
