Summary
Northland College, an environmentally-committed college on the shores of Lake Superior, is searching for a Teaching Fellow in Meteorology for a one-year appointment, with the possibility of the appointment extending to two years. The appointment begins in September 2015.
Northland College has 600 students and 45 faculty and is located in Ashland, Wisconsin.
Position Description
Recent Ph.D.'s or individuals who are ABD in meteorology, atmospheric science, or closely related field are encouraged to apply.
The teaching load will consist of 6 courses per year in meteorology, including Introduction to Meteorology, Synoptic Meteorology, Dynamic Meteorology, and Mesoscale Meteorology. Special consideration will be given to applicants who have an interest in teaching Oceanography. Two semesters are fifteen weeks in length, with a four-week semester in May.
