[ES_JOBS_NET] Ph.D student position in satellite remote sensing of water quality

  The Zachry Department ofCivil Engineering at Texas A&M University is seeking one motivated PhDcandidate in hydrological remote sensing, with a priority in the area ofmonitoring coastal water quality. The candidate is expected to have researchexperience with VIS/IR satellite sensors (such as Landsat, MODIS, and AVHRRetc.), and is expected to develop retrieval algorithms using observations fromsuch sensors. The ability to program in the unix/linux environment is desired.Graduate study experience and published scientific results are a plus.
