Kleinfelder is seeking an Entry Level Air Quality Permitting
Professional to be located in the Denver Office to assist in air quality
regulatory compliance. The primary role of this position is to provide
engineering technical support for various aspects of air quality
compliance programs including preparation of emission inventories,
database development, ambient impact modeling, permit application
preparation, regulatory review, recordkeeping and reporting, equipment
inventories and process assessments. This position is highly technical
requiring excellent data management and interpretation skills, strategic
thinking to identify and apply logical solutions, ability to understand
and apply engineering calculations and quality control procedures, good
writing and organization capabilities, ability to work independently or
as part of a larger group with capacity to support multiple assignments.
A key focus of this position is to obtain air permits and ensure
compliance with environmental requirements associated with the oil and
gas industry. The position may also include responsibilities for
supporting field work that can include data acquisition and analysis,
equipment inventories, and other compliance efforts requiring facility
visits.
*Experience:*
Technical accuracy, the ability to work efficiently and effectively, and
have excellent communications skills is necessary
Must have strong computer skills including a strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Experience performing duties or research directly related to the
application of air quality science, and knowledge of oil & gas
operations is a plus
*Education:*
BS in environmental engineering and/or compliance, physics, chemical
engineering, mechanical engineering, atmospheric science, environmental
science or related field with an emphasis in environmental compliance,
or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
