[ES_JOBS_NET] Postdoc opportunity at NRC Board on Atmospheric Sciences and Climate

The National Research Council (NRC) Board on Atmospheric Sciences and Climate (BASC)<dels.nas.edu/basc> is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow.  This is a great opportunity for a recent PhD student to spend a year working at the interface of science and policy.  The postdoc will support several activities on a wide range of topics, including atmospheric chemistry, subseasonal-to-seasonal forecasting, geoengineering, and global change research. In addition, the postdoc will likely be asked to support activities of the Polar Research Board (PRB)<dels.nas.edu/prb>.

The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background in a related field, but also be able to thrive in an interdisciplinary environment. We're looking for someone who is a quick learner, an excellent communicator, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities.
