related field required by time of appointment, and Physical Geographer who
will complement and enhance the research interests and strengths of faculty
in the Geography Department. Preferred qualifications: Individuals with
research interests in phenology, global environmental change, urban
environments, or geographic implications of environmental policy; the
ability to develop an active research program (research productivity); the
ability to obtain grant funding; undergraduate and graduate teaching
experience; and the ability to establish interdisciplinary research
collaborations. Position duties: The successful applicant will be expected
to develop an active research program, including collaborative extramural
grant proposals, display excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching,
and conduct interdisciplinary research with other campus programs. To
