The Institute for Shock Physics (ISP) at Washington State University is pleased to announce a 9-week, multidisciplinary undergraduate research program "Materials Under Extreme Conditions" in the Summer of 2015 (May 28 through July 31).



APPLICATIONS: Now through February 20, 2015, or once the positions are filled.



RESEARCH GOAL: Provide undergraduate students in the Physical Sciences and Engineering the opportunity to undertake and perform hands-on experimental investigations of condensed matter phenomena at extreme conditions. A variety of exciting research projects are offered.



FINANCIAL SUPPORT: $5,000 stipend for the 9-week session, free housing on campus and travel assistance for travel to and from Pullman, Washington (up to $500).
